IOM Academy courses are designed to cover a key aspect of materials technology in a series of interactive steps. The student is provided with information on a subject and the understanding of this information is tested while working through the module. Click the module demonstration link on the left to see a sample of a course.
How do the modules work?
To download a module, you need to register as an individual or company and pay online for the course. You will then be provided with a password to allow you to download the course from this site onto your own computer. You will need to use the Registered users log in at the top of the left hand menu to download the software. You can then work through the course when it suits you and you don’t have to be online.
Can I obtain a qualification?
After working through a module, you can take an online examination. Achieving the required standard in this examination is recognised by the award of an IOM Academy Training Certificate.
